AVID is a program that promotes a college-going culture with an emphasis on a rigorous curriculum with support. At Farb, students accept responsibility for their own learning through the development of organizational skills, collaboration with peers, and participation in strategies to help them acquire deeper knowledge and understanding. Trained teachers incorporate specific AVID strategies into their curriculum in order to support ALL students.
